This is a fun and rewarding experience! Like to smile and make each person feel welcome every time they walk through the door? We need volunteers that have a knack for organization and answering questions.
In addition to welcoming guests, greeters answer the phone, return messages, make shopping appointments and check-in shoppers. This role does require a basic knowledge of computers and background check.

The White Bear Area Emergency Food Shelf has been providing food to our neighbors in need since 1977. We do this in close partnership with our community - with individuals, churches, schools, businesses, neighborhood associations and other community groups.
Description
The White Bear Area Food Shelf (WBAFS) has served as a critical resource for families struggling with food insecurity since 1977. Over the past four decades, we have grown and improved our traditional food shelf programming in addition to creating new and innovative services to better meet the needs of our neighbors.
