Help Surfcat find forever homes for our amazing cats! We hold adoption events at the Ventura Pet Barn on the last Sunday of every month from 12-3pm. Training will be provided!

  • load cats into carriers, help transport them to Pet Barn
  • setup gated areas for cats to roam
  • keep a vigilant eye on cats/kittens
  • interact with potential adopters to help them determine if a cat would be a good fit
  • direct adopters to the adoption application form
  • be an enthusiastic ambassador for Surfcat!

Description

Surfcat Cafe and Adoptions is a 501(c)3 nonprofit cat rescue and adoption center. We are doing our part to keep Ventura County Animal Services a no-kill shelter by pulling shy or long term shelter residents, special, medical, and behavioral needs and allowing them to live in a free roaming social environment. We have decided to put the lounge on hold for now so we can save and rehabilitate more cats in need.
