Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center
Volunteers greet and register blood donors into the computer system. Responsible for obtaining accurate donor ID criteria, inputting all pertinent donor information into the computer and verifying accuracy of critical identifiers. Thank donors for their donation. Oversee the Canteen area as time allows.
Every Tuesday 1:30 - 6:30 pm (Shift can be split if needed to 1:30 - 4:00 and 4:00 - 6:30)
Every other Saturday 7 - Noon

The Blood Center is a volunteer-based organization that involves volunteer blood donors, a voluntary board of trustees, and community volunteers. Volunteers provide a much needed and valued service to our donors, patients and staff. We serve over 115 hospitals in 4 states and utilize volunteers from many areas to assist in our operations. Headquarters for the organization, as well as component processing, is located in Davenport, Iowa.
