We need a good business admin organizer who can write creative posts for our homeless animals, do photos, provide communication for inquiries, follow up with recent adopters, contact donors, maintain good records, develop relationships with people, recruit & help train additional volunteers for dog handling/kennel attendants.
An HR background, business background, strong computer skills, strong people skills, and a love for big dogs would be very helpful & important. You will be doing very important work & the rewards are big even if not measured in dollars.
A weekly day or 2 half days will cover most of the tasks.
If you have any skills in writing grant applications or would like to learn it, we'll show you how. That alone could keep you busy at all times. This could develop into an income producing position so you could work from home when you are not at the kennels.
