Mitzvah Food Program's five pantries distribute nutritious food to all who are in need, regardless of race, income, gender, age or religion. Their choice-based model allows visitors to choose the foods they like from the inventory, rather than receiving a one-size-fits-all package. Sign up to package and/or deliver food to home-bound clients, or volunteer in our pantries! All are welcome, but folks who can volunteer with MFP on a regular basis are preferred.

Our service makes tangible differences in lives and communities, and we infuse it with Jewish values, learning about historical and social contexts that surround the issues, reflecting on our experiences, and assessing our impact. In fact, we believe that this 'infusion’ enables us to serve better - to contribute more consciously and tangibly to the issues we work on and the communities we work in.
Repair the World is a national nonprofit, based in New York City. We were founded in 2009, with the mission of making deep and meaningful volunteer service a central part of Jewish life. We enable people to transform their neighborhoods, cities and lives through meaningful service experiences, rooted in Jewish values, history and heritage.
We'll work with your schedule.
