We are looking for assistants to help out at our weekly after school program for 3rd - 5th graders. We offer a fun hands-on activity each week for 10-15 students, and can use help guiding the students in the construction of their projects, help using tools, and help managing behavior and making sure everyone has fun while staying safe. All volunteers must complete a PA Criminal Background check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI fingerprint check, which The Hacktory can reimburse you for.

Mission Statement
The Hacktory aims to make technology of all kinds accessible to people of all backgrounds and skill levels. We encourage a self-directed approach to learning, and incorporate creativity and the arts into our programs as much as possible. Our programs include adult classes, after school programs, family workshops, and membership access to our advanced tools, including 3D printing and laser-cutting.
