Th e new Family Resource Center at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Memory Center will be a place for patients with memory loss and their loved ones/caregivers, to tap into the a multitude of resources and services in the community and beyond.
Volunteers will be offered a brief 1-2 hour training about dementia and memory loss to include basic description of the disease process and ways to engage those with memory problems. I will also address specific concerns that the caregivers often have.
