ORGANIZATION: Ohio History Connection

The Ohio History Center's Marketing Divison is looking for volunteers toAssist in market research and evaluation by means of asking questions about the effectiveness of exhibits, educational programs, and events.

Volunteers will learn how history affects individuals personally. Volunteers will be engaged in collection, analysis, and presentation of the data. Volunteers will get the chance to figure out what peaks visitors curiosity, how visitors best interact with our exhibits and what keeps them coming back by:

* Collection of the data (observations, questionnaires, interviews, focus groups)
* Input of the data
* Analysis of the data

Education and/or Experience:
Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn. Interest in related areas of evaluation, educational theory, environmental design, developmental psychology, communication theory, leisure studies, and marketing research a plus.
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively and comfortably interview adults
Mathematical Skills:
Basic, interest in statistics a plus
Technical Skills:
General typing skills and knowledge iPad and Microsoft Office based products
Reasoning Ability:
Attention to detail
Ability to memorize and follow a script

Some data collection occurs offsite and/or on weekends. Weekdays could be every week or several times per month. While weekends would be as needed.
