ORGANIZATION: Heart's Delight Wine Tasting & Auction

We are seeking a Special Events Intern to begin as soon as possible. Reponsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Research and outreach to prospective auction partners
  • Research for auction donations from hotels, restaurants, luxury brands, etc.
  • Enter auction items into Greater Giving software
  • Assist in the preparation of the Heart’s Delight event
  • Assit at the Heart's Delight event (May 10-13, 2017)
  • Other special projects as assigned

The ideal candidate must:

  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills
  • Have an interest in event planning, food, wine, travel, and/or nonprofits
  • Be able to travel to our Arlington office (near the Ballston metro in Virginia)
  • Be comfortable with administrative tasks, such as printing jobs, mailings and office organization
  • Be detail oriented and hard working
