Pets For Vets is looking for Foster families in the Ithaca area. Our organization matches US Service Veterans with a trained companion animal. The foster families will take the dog into their home for 8 weeks, possibly longer. They will work with our nationally certified trainers. Near the end of training, the veteran will be introduced to the companion dog.

We offer the following services to our community: Animal Adoption Centers Animal Cruelty Investigation, Low Income Alteration (spay/neuter) Clinic, Humane Education, Pet Therapy, Dog Obedience Class, Pals for Seniors program, Teen Volunteering and Community Service openings
