The Angel Tree program provides new gifts to children in need who may not otherwise receive anything for the holidays. This year, 14,000 children in the DC metro are being matched with donors who generously provide them with brand new clothes and toys.
We need your help receiving, sorting, and distributing the donated gifts at the Arlington Corps Angel Tree Gift Warehouse!
Requirements: Volunteers must be age 14 or older. All youth volunteers must be accompanied by an adult throughout the volunteer shift. Volunteers must be able to lift medium to large packages, carry items up and down stairs, and be comfortable on their feet for the majority of their shifts.
For more information please contact Capt. Danitza Porras 703-979-3380 Ext.105 or Danitza.Porras@uss.salvationarmy.org
