Volunteer Ultrasound Technician

The Ultrasound Technician performs ultrasounds for abortion-minded clients to further Pregnancy Aid’s mission of serving women and their babies. Specific duties are as follows.

  • Perform limited diagnostic ultrasounds as scheduled by the receptionist

  • Conduct follow-up as necessary

  • Coordinate with counselors regarding client issues and needs

  • Maintain applicable licensing and insurance requirements

  • Keep and maintain records on ultrasound program

  • Report to Office Manager any supply/maintenance needs or other issues impacting the ultrasound program

  • Other tasks (as time permits)

  • Assist Office Manager when necessary.

Qualifications: Certification in Sonography or Nursing degree with training in sonography


Hours Worked: Varies, 2 - 3 hours a day.

Schedule : Open, preferably one day bi - weekly.

Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday


Pregnancy Aid hours of operation


Monday: 11 - 4

Tuesday: 11 - 4

Wednesday: 11 - 4

Friday: 11 - 4

Saturday: 11 - 2

Thursday & Sunday : Closed

We offer a range of free services including pregnancy testing, emtional and parenting support. Maternity clothes, baby supplies and infant clothing. We also provide refferals for free prenatal care, free STI testing, temporary housing, adoption, G.E.D prep and emergency food.
