Help PAL Humane Society be a voice for pets and people in our community!
PAL Humane Society's community pet program helps qualified veterans, seniors and homeless in the Las Vegas Valley feed and care for their pets. We also operate a pet food pantry, educational programs, and a service dog program for qualified veterans. In order to be successful, we need to get the word out. This is where you come in!
Volunteers are needed to help with Tabling in front of predetermined stores. Volunteer responsibilities include:
- Table set up and break down
- Distribute PAL brochures
- Collect pet food and monetary donations
- Encourage people to sign up for email list
- Engage people in conversation to inform them about PAL's mission and programs
- Recruit new volunteers
- Represent PAL as an ambassador
PAL volunteers table in pairs. Volunteers table at larger chain stores and local pet supply and feed stores.
We will provide training for you so that you feel comfortable about asking for donations and providing information. Training will be held in our office before your first tabling day.
Successful tabling volunteers enjoy connecting with people, have friendly personalities, and have the ability to talk to a wide variety of people with ease and respect.
