The duties would be built up based on the volunteers under this category and the director may recruit for assistance. The list below is what the goal will be to reach under this category - it may develop in stages.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Media: CARE website, Facebook and any resources communicating with the public
• Print: flyers, posters, business cards, newspaper ads, any support material for CARE
• Outreach/Education: Oversee the development of Powerpoints for seminars, workshops, speakers bureau
• Events: Coordinate and promote with Event Volunteer for optimal fundraising and attendance, provide media, print materials and venues
• CARE News: Digital newsletter
• PR: Oversee the promotion of CARE and its efforts through all channels
• Manage volunteers under Communications
• May need to take on some of these needs yourself
• Develop fundraising products

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
MUST

• Be able to attend monthly board meetings held in the evenings in central Orlando
• Contact via email and phone as needed
• Experience with the latest Adobe software, social media, html, css
• Believe in the CARE Feline TNR mission.

RELATED SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE:

• Interent access - required
• Email - required
• Professional background in Marketing or related field - preferred
• Experience serving on board of directors (especially non-profit) - preferred
• Familiarity with Google Docs preferred but not required - we will train you

Approximate hours required is variable and highly dependent on your ability to recruit assistants and delegate assignments. There may be high involvement at times with this position.
