Mission Statement

Hope Rides exists to provide faith-based horse and husbandry related mentorship programs via a ranch platform that encourage, empowers and equips individuals with important transferable life skills that supports their ability to walk in the fullness for which they were created.

Description

Hope Rides provide a safe place that is rooted in the spirit of love and mentorship where horses and a love for husbandry type activities are used to provide outreach programs. The ranch is home to several rescue horses, chickens, ducks, bees, goats, cats and dogs. The ranch provides a variety of mentorship programs that support youth and families to heal and grow emotionally, physically and spiritually. The ranch serves youth ages 5-18.

The horses that live at the ranch are everything from backyard horses that need a new home to rescue horses that are barely breathing when they arrive. Likewise many of the individual that come to the ranch come from similar situations. It is the shared experience that allows them to understand each other perhaps better than anyone else can. Each individual who comes to the ranch is an individual that needs to be treated in a unique and special way. The ranch program is dynamic in that it flexes to meet the needs of each child. It is because we work with one child, one leader and one horse that each child gets a very private and focused time that is suited to facilitate their unique situation and healing.
