Help provide fresh and healthy food to your neighbors! Help us create a positive shopping experience for all by:

  • Assist with checking in participants at the beginning of their shopping experience
  • Assisting with the shopping process
  • Helping shoppers load their groceries into their vehicles
  • Sorting through fresh produce and/or food donations so we can ensure only the best items make it onto our shelves

Our opportunities do not require experience, include training, and are of course fun!

VEAP is open Monday - Friday from 8 - 5 p.m. Shifts are on-site and are typically three hours in length. All volunteers ages 18 or older must complete a volunteer orientation as well as a criminal background check prior to volunteering. Youth ages 9 - 15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Get started today! Both Youth and Adult applications can be found at https://volunteer.veap.org/user/register/.

Biggest Need: Our 2:15-5:15pm pantry shifts currently have the most availability, these occur M-F
