The Guild of Placentia-Linda Hospital was founded in 1972 and has grown to over 100 volunteeers who partner with the Hospital on a regular basis to provide outstanding service. The Guild operates the hospital Gift Shop, the proceeds from which are used to fund scholarships for students entering the Health Care Field.
Our Gift Shop currently needs volunteers for evenings and weekends. Gift shop duties include selling items, running the cash register, maintain displays and associated duties.
Available shifts include:
Tuesday 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Friday 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Sunday 10:00 am - 2:00 p.m.

To supplement and complement hospital personnel, and to help further good public relations for the Hospital in the community. To support Placentia-Linda Hospital's mission statement, which is "Quality Healthcare With a Personal Touch"
Description
The Guild consists of approximately 100 volunteers who fulfill a wide range of services within the hospital. It is oriented toward service, rather than fund raising activities. However, more than $10,000 in Guild-operated Gift Shop proceeds are awarded annually in scholarships to students in the community studying in medically related fields.
