After School Fun!

Calling ALL willing hearts who love children!
Great opportunity for high school or college students interested in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.

Do you enjoy playing and planning games? Do you want to share arts and crafts with school-age children? Do you enjoy promoting reading and encouraging learning? Do you have a sport or fun skill you would like to share with children?

We are looking for volunteers to assist the After School Program teacher with arts and craft preparation, reading, homework, computer lab supervision and assist with supervising fun physical fitness activities and games.

Requirements:
Volunteers must be 16 years old or older.
Any volunteer under the age of 18 must have a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian.
Orientation will be required prior to beginning your volunteer shift.
Volunteers must pass a background check and sign a waiver.

Commitment:
The program runs Monday - Thursday After School 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. from the beginning of September through the beginning of June. It follows the District 301 school year calendar. A minimum of a one day per week commitment for the fall or spring semester is requested.
