Bird feeders for Hospice patients / Tarrant County

COVID-19 has closed the doors of nursing homes to the public. Of course this is necessary at this time but nonetheless it has left our patients isolated to their rooms with no contact from family and friends, or ANYBODY!!

In an effort to reach our patients and let them know that they are not alone we are placing bird feeders outside their windows for them to enjoy. If you would like to brighten someone's day and can craft a simple bird house or bird feeder please give me a call!! It does not matter what woodworking skill level you are, we would love any and all! If you don;t want to build one we are also accepting donations for bird feeders, bird seed and bird houses.

You'd be surprised how even the small things, like a bird feeder to watch the birds, can improve the lives of patients and the people who love them. We'll give you a thorough orientation and then we'll support you every step of the way. Flexible: weekdays or weekends, an hour or two weekly or monthly whatever your schedule permits.

If you want to help but need supplies, please call and we will get supplies to you. All this can be done at your home and we will pick up from there when your ready.

Thank you for everything that you do!
