Volunteer mentors are needed for our I-Build enrichment program! Students and volunteers draw upon their scientific knowledge and apply imagination, persistence, and ingenuity to create everyday devices or explore solutions to engineering problems that apply to their personal lives.
I-Build volunteers commit to the Middle School Program, grades 6-8, for one night each week for 1.5 hours (Thursday's, 5:30- 7:00 pm) in Cambridge (Near Alewife Station/Parking Availble). We are looking for volunteers who are comfortable co-facilitating activities related to engineering. To learn more about our programs, visit our website: www.tutoringplus.org.

Tutoring Plus advances educational equity by supporting youth in their academic, personal and social growth through free, individualized tutoring, mentoring and enrichment programs.
Description
For over 55 years, Tutoring Plus has continued to provide academic support to Cambridge students. By providing a structured environment for volunteers and a highly personalized approach to working with students, Tutoring Plus currently supports over 210 students and 170 tutors and serves as a critical resource for our students and families.
All of our programs are provided free of charge to support our effort to close the opportunity gap within our neighborhood.
