Most of our volunteers donate their time, knowledge and creativity by making hats and sleep caps for people suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment or another medical condition. Some volunteer to help with sorting, tagging and delivery of Happy Caps. Caps can be made by a volunteer who wants to work on their own time to create caps at their own pace, or by a volunteer who makes caps as a member of a group; such as a church, senior center or club and who may work individually or meet to create caps together. When available we provide yarn that has been donated in support of our efforts. We provide gift tags for each hat, a presentation basket and we deliver to medical centers weekly.
