Paws in the City is looking for an experienced event director for fundraising events. This person will coordinate with Paws in the City event leads, volunteer coordinators and other Paws in the City volunteers to coordinate and execute all fundraisers for the organization. Will screen interested outside parties (typically companies) that want to hold fundraisers for Paws in the City. Will make decisions regarding fundraisers with other members of the board of directors on the best use of time and volunteers. Assist in negotiation with caterers, venues, etc. Will solicit donations from outside parties for events.
Will lead major fundraising events: Pups and Pints, Martini for Mutts, and Top Hat and Tails.
