The Ocean Park Rescue Squad needs help planning, directing, and coordinating activities, press releases and newsletter offerings designed to create and maintain a favourable public image and raise awareness for our organization.

We help preserve life, improve health, and promote the safety of citizens and visitors, who live, learn, work and play in Virginia Beach. Positions perfect for those entering the work force and looking to add real world experience or those just looking to give back some time to their community.

Communications and Media - Knowledge of social media, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
Public Relations - Assist to prepare newsletters and other company literature. Release promotion literature about the Station. Help draft speeches and presentations for use by Station Officers. Write press releases and media kits. Assist as possible with Fundraising campaigns to ensure consistent message across all communication with the public.

All applicants will be required to work through Virginia Beach Department of EMS application process and agree to required background checks and screening process.
