VOLUNTEER APPLICATION SUBMISSION AND APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO EVENT. We are seeking volunteers who are available on Monday, October 14 (which is Indigenous Peoples Day, so several schools and organizations are closed). Volunteers will help meet, greet and direct 300 employees coming for an all day professional development training. Duties available range from registration to assisting sessions. The mission of the Fulton County Library System is to serve as a cultural and intellectual center that enriches the community and empowers all residents with essential tools for lifelong learning.
The Fulton County Library System is the largest library system in the state of Georgia. Volunteers serve at all 34 locations. The System provides a variety of literacy and community information services and programs for citizens in and around the Metropolitan Atlanta area. These services include, but are not limited to: providing audio, visual and print media for check-out by registered patrons; providing programming that reflects the diverse interests of area residents and visitors, and providing meeting areas for community discussion and interaction.
