Do you want to directly see the impact of the work you’re doing? If you do, consider volunteering for the family assistance program - you’ll work directly with a family affected by ALS.
Right now there’s a 60 year old woman with ALS and her husband living in Chamberlain who could use your help. The husband would love some housecleaning help and someone to visit with his wife while he works in the yard. When he asked for help he said that "even a monthly visit will do so much for us."
If you would like to learn more about how you can help this family, please visit our website [tinyurl.com/ALS-FAP].
