Participate in developing and implementing branch mission
Participate in board meetings (about 6 per year) and occasional other meetings
Process occasional expenses including electronic bank transfers and deposits of donations and event fees
Monthly reconcile accounts and provide reporting to Board
Prepare annual budget and maintain history reporting
Prepare and forward annual accounts in the format set out by national headquarters
Advise ESU-SF Board on accounting and financial matters

The English-Speaking Union of the United States is a network of 68 Branches throughout the United States whose members celebrate English as a shared language to foster global understanding and good will by providing educational and cultural opportunities for students, educators and members. The ESU seeks to nurture and enhance our linguistics heritage through nationally administered programs and outreach. The San Francisco branch concentrates on providing scholarships and interesting educational lectures.
Description
San Francisco branch has 6 board members, board meets every two months with occasional other meetings. Anticipated work load most months 2-3 hours, during year end close and budgeting may be as much as 4-6 hours.
