Transport blood and blood produects throughout the region for the American Red Cross- distribute to area hospitals and from blood collection sites to laboratories. Preferred committment is at least one shift per month. Vehicle is available through American Red Cross but must have valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Senior Resources is a non-profit organization that provides coordinated services, resources and personal choices to promote healthy, independent living through the support of staff and volunteers.
Description
Since 1967, Senior Resources, Inc. has provided a variety of choices to Columbia area seniors and families by offering established programs for home care, transportation, senior volunteers, meal delivery and more.
The senior vounteer program includes the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of the Midlands. RSVP is a volunteer program for people aged 55 years and older. Volunteers may work in a variety of locations throughout Richland, Lexington and Newberry Counties. Times, dates and locations for volunteering are very flexible and are available at more than 50 locations (volunteer stations) in the Midlands.
RSVP is sponsored by Senior Corps, a part of the federal Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS).
