The Oakland Catholic Worker offers free hot meals to anyone who comes by our door from 11am-2pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. Volunteers are needed to prepare food starting at 9 or 10am, and to serve food from 11am-2pm. Weekly or monthly commitments are ideal, but other consistent commitments also helpful. We can accomodate volunteers who cannot stay for an entire shift.
