Volunteers help us to reach the goal of the 4th Annual New York City Scope It Out 5K Run/Walk, which is to is to raise over $35,000, which will support colon cancer research under the direction of Nancy E. Kemeny, MD at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC); and also raise awareness of this disease.
We would need some volunteers to get there ealry to help us set up tables, tents, etc. We then need volunteers during the race to man non=profit tables, direct runners/walkers on the course, watch bags that are checked and to hand out water. The last task we need for volunteers are to help us take everything down.
We will have light refreshments during the race that volunteers can have and all volunteers who sign-in will get a thank you letter via email.
