Intern should have an interest in land conservation and/or historic preservation and have some knowledge of Microsoft Office, research methods, and organizational skills. GIS knowledge is a plus. Interns will assist the Executive Director and Preservation Coordinator in the following duties:
- Assist with ongoing land conservation projects including property documentation, grant applications and administration, and research.
- Maintain and organize records for each property/project
- Help prep for and attend annual monitoring of protected properties
- Help with archaeological lab work from past excavations
