Animal Defense League of Arizona attends community events throughout the valley in order to raise awareness of the outdoor cat population and the importance of TNR in our neighborhoods. Our volunteers will attend these events to engage, speak with, and hand out literature to the people who visit our table.

Mission Statement
To Protect and Defend Arizona's Animals.
Description
ADLA is currently focusing time and energy on outdoor, free roaming cats and has implemented The Spay Neuter Hotline to facilitate this. The Spay Neuter Hotline’s Trap Neuter Return Program offers the only viable solution to the exponential reproduction of cats on the streets of Maricopa County. Spaying 15,000 cats per year and over 75, 000 cats since 2009, the Spay Neuter Hotline’s TNR Program brings together an amazing group of volunteers and veterinarians who help neighborhoods stop the birth of homeless kittens by trapping and sterilizing cats and returning them to live-out their lives in the colonies where they were trapped.
