Family Service Association is one of the largest nonprofits in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. FSA serves over 3,500 meals daily to seniors in need. With your help we can make this number grow, and serve others on waiting lists. In this very important role, you help serve meals to seniors, prepare food plates, collect and count donated money, sign seniors in for their daily lunches, and many more tasks that make such a huge difference in the lives of others. Your presence gives these seniors companionship, trust, and the knowledge that someone cares for their well-being.
Locations are available all over Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, lend a hand and help us strengthen your community! We especially need volunteers at our Fontana locations (George White Sr Ctr and Dino Papavero Sr Ctr), Senior Centers in Rialto , Bloomington, Loma Linda, Mentone, Redlands, Calimea and Yucaipa. Locations are also available in the western San Bdno and Riv counties.
Volunteers are usually needed between Mon - Fri, 9 AM and 1 PM. Shifts are 3- to 4- hours, one or more days per week on a regular basis. We also have had one-time special events that groups can participate in for special days (Mother's/Father's Days, Thanksgiving, etc.).

Since 1953, Family Service Association has served communities in Southern California with a variety of human service programs including: Child Development, Child Abuse Prevention, Trauma Informed Counseling, Senior and Community Centers, Senior Housing, and Senior Nutrition. Family Service is a not-for-profit social service organization dedicated to meeting the changing needs of families and communities in Riverside County and San Bernardino County regardless of income, ethnicity, gender or socio-economic status. We envision a day when Inland Empire communities have strong families without poverty, hunger or health disparities.
