Sunnyside offers a space for over seniors and youth. We are looking for qualified individuals who can provide enrichment and programs for seniors and after school youths. SCS offers a vibrant environment where seniors can enjoy recreational, fitness, and educational activities, or just relax with friends.
Classes in the past included:
- Tai Chi
- Aerobics and dancercise
- Meditation and yoga
- Computer and technology classes
- Bingo, dominoes, and card games
- Creative writing
- Arts and crafts
- Film club
- Discussion groups
- Trips to local cultural hot spots
- Concerts and performances
If you're interested in hosting a class we want you! The center is usually open between 9am - 6pm. We can work with your schedule to coordinate a class.

Sunnyside Community Services is a settlement house serving over 18,000 youth, seniors, homebound persons, new immigrants, and families each year. Our vision is to be a pioneer in the provision of integrated services that address the changing, complex needs of the community.
