Help check in 50-100 TNR cats for spay neuter services at AHS clinic each month. This opportunity is through ADLA (Animal Defense League of Arizona).
This position is responsible for being the first point of contact with caregivers arriving to the clinic. Volunteers will check-in scheduled cats and insure they are documented for surgery.
Duties and Responsibilities
Greet clients transporting cats to the clinic and assist in unloading cats from the vehicle.
Confirm appointment on working schedule, complete form verifying contact information, pick-up time of transporter and cat description and complete one leg tag for each cat including trap # and caregiver name.
Check for ear tips
Move cats (in traps) into the clinic.
Ability to work well with the public and communicate effectively.
Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, kneel and lift up to 30lbs.
