Tempe Spay Neuter Clinic volunteer opportunities are twice a month (once in the summer) on a Sunday. They are checking in cats, cleaning and assembling surgical instruments, post-op care, aiding in the after surgery recovery, and checking the cats out to the caregivers at the end of day.
We have two shifts, 6:30-10:30am and 10:30-2:30pm. You are welcome to sign up for one or both.
We can train you in any of these positions. Please let me know if you have questions, need further information, or would like me to send the volunteer application and waiver. Thank you, have a great day!More opportunities with Animal Defense League of Arizona

Mission Statement
To Protect and Defend Arizona's Animals.
Description
ADLA is currently focusing time and energy on outdoor, free roaming cats and has implemented The Spay Neuter Hotline to facilitate this. The Spay Neuter Hotline’s Trap Neuter Return Program offers the only viable solution to the exponential reproduction of cats on the streets of Maricopa County. Spaying 15,000 cats per year and over 75, 000 cats since 2009, the Spay Neuter Hotline’s TNR Program brings together an amazing group of volunteers and veterinarians who help neighborhoods stop the birth of homeless kittens by trapping and sterilizing cats and returning them to live-out their lives in the colonies where they were trapped.
