ORGANIZATION: PATH

Coats for Kids - PATH collects new or gently used, winter coats for kids throughout October. New coats come to PATH and used coats go to participating dry cleaners to be cleaned and picked up later for distribution. Donors may also give monetary donations to Coats for Kids and PATH will purchase coats for distribution.

Volunteers are needed to help sort, size and tag the coats to prepare them for distribution day, This is great for individuals or groups. On Distribution Day, volunteers will help give out the coats.

Volunteer Days:
Weekdays: October 16th- October 31st Tuesdays and Thursdays. To help pre-sort coats before giving them to dry cleaners to be cleaned.

Weekends:
November 4th and 11th
9am- Noon
Preparing coats and gym for Distribution Day.


Distribution Day

We will distribute the coats on Saturday, November 18th. There will be two shifts that day. 7:30 -11 am, and 10:45 am-2:00 pm.
This is ALOT of FUN and very hands on with the families and kids! NO CHILDCARE FOR VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED.

For many recipients, the encounters they have with volunteers at PATH are just as important as the assistance they come to receive. By volunteering at PATH, you will make a difference in the life of a person in need.

Volunteering at PATH is a one-of-a-kind experience based on compassion, respect and dignity. During your volunteer shift, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to those listed below. Only through your efforts can PATH achieve our mission to offer hope and help to our neighbors in need and we are so grateful for all of our volunteers and look forward to the time we get to spend and serve together. All volunteers must schedule in advance - no "walk-in" volunteers are accepted.

In order to meet the needs of all of our volunteers and create a more engaged community, PATH provides numerous volunteer opportunities for groups of all sizes. Whether you are in individual, a family or a corporation, PATH is ready to work together with you to create a better community!
