Critter Care at the Discovery Center

Insects and reptiles are a remarkable group of animals. They occur virtually everywhere and make up more than half of all living things on earth. Collecting insects and having reptiles for pets can be fun, inexpensive, and fascinating. We're looking for a few volunteers to assist us with our "critter care" which includes feeding, watering and clearning out their "houses". We have several different types of animals on display at the Discovery Center (a blue tongue skink for one!) The students who come to visit and learn at the Discovery Center enjoy our "pets" and you will, too!
