Overview of position: The Videography Intern will use their media arts skills to record, edit and create professional videos to be used by LOH. Videos created by this intern may include tutorials and instructional videos for the volunteer orientation, and may also include videos for promotional or fundraising use. This intern will work with LOH staff and other interns to collaborate on projects that meet the needs of the various departments in the organization. The intern will record, edit and publish video content as needed.
Specific Tasks:
- Assist LOH staff and interns with videography as needed
- Create storyboards for instructional videos
- Record instructional videos and tutorials for volunteer orientation
- Edit and create videos for fundraising events and promotional use
- Help create videos for social media
Time Required: 10-12 hours per week.
Education Requirements: Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
Experience Required: Minimum two years of nonprofit or volunteer experience.
Physical/Age Requirements: None
Qualifications:
- Strong videography skills
- Experience with video editing software
- Experience recording, editing and publishing video content
- Works well in teams on collaborative projects
- Demonstrates creativity and can create storyboards for video projects
- Knowledge of LOH programming and mission
- Loves animals and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty
- Know how to laugh and have fun
Training: On-site LOH training.

The mission of Lost Our Home Pet Rescue is to ensure that all pets have loving homes when families face major life challenges. We provide compassionate options when Realtors and the community find an abandoned pet.
Description
Lost Our Home Pet Foundation was formed by a group of realty professionals who saw a need to help pets abandoned or displaced by the current housing crisis. We have several programs we offer to help pets that have been affected by the economy. First and foremost we rescue pets that have been abandoned in foreclosed homes. We also offer options for families in crisis to be able to surrender their pet for adoption and not bring them to a shelter or take advantage of our temporary foster program. The Temporary Care Program gives families in crisis a safe place to leave their pets while they transition to a new living environment where they can re-claim their pets again. Our Furry Friends Foodbank is for families who qualify to receive help with pet food and pet supplies in a crisis. This allows them to keep their furry family members with them, and keeps that family's pets out of the shelter/rehoming system.
