The Friends of the Elk Grove Public Library Friends is a membership-supported, non-profit organization that advocates, fund-raises, and provides critical support for the library. We raise monies through the sale of "gently-used" books in a twice a year community sale. Because the public is so generous, we must store these donated books off-site in a mini-storage facility in Laguna. This means we need to have an individual like you transport several book boxes about 3X per month. Along the way, we drop off donated food left at the library to the Elk Grove Food Bank. Total time commitment each delivery: about 90 minutes.
