Project Description

Social Media Intern / Fellow- Assist the Director in executing the collaborative marketing campaigns by researching, creating and posting content to social networks, webpage, blogs and email blasts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing Marketing Plan for social media, webpage, blog and email blasts
• Create copy and source image content for social media, etc.
• Facilitate online conversations, meetups and e-townhalls to discuss and crowdsource knowledge on issues
• Manage the Hootsuite account for social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.)
• Utilize project management tool for all work and to facilitate collaborative campaign with nonprofits
• Ability to concisely craft what to say, know why it is being said and what is the desired outcome
• Research and activate new and effective social media platforms
• Curate guest columnist blog posts
• Research and secure access to social media, blog and other online outlets for Heart for Winter Haven’ content to be shared
• Measure, track and evaluate metrics related to Marketing activity and outcomes to achieve mission and goals
