The United Way of Pickens County is looking for people to volunteer with our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to help individuals and families earning $53,000 or less file their 2016 income taxes for free. Daytime, evening, and night hours available at your convenience. Tax sites will be in Central, Easley, Liberty, and Pickens.
No experience is necessary!
Official IRS Certification comes free for each volunteer. The program itself will begin in late January 2017. Anyone who is willing and able to help their neighbors should contact Jeremy Price at jprice@uwpickens.org.
