Do you have a love for music? Do you enjoy giving back to others? Here at Alacare Home Health and Hospice we have a program for you. Music and Memory is a nationwide program that aims to help those patients that are suffering from Dementia related diseases. The program allows volunteers to go out into the home and get to know the patient and caregivers and work with them to put together a music library for the patient. The information is then used to download music on Itunes and load the music onto the company supplied Ipods. This program does wonders for the patients. It spark old memories, help with agitation, and even help with pain management. If you want to make an impact in someones life through music please contact Alacare and we would love to discuss this great opportunity with you.
