ORGANIZATION: The Sharon at SouthPark

  • Love and appreciation for older or disabled adults

  • Patient, encouraging, and enthusiastic attitude

  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality

  • Respect for people of different backgrounds

  • A special skill to share with the residents

• Duties:

  • Lead and assist groups of residents in various lifelong learning programs such as:

    • Writing Memoirs

    • History

    • Wine Tasting

    • Flower Arranging

    • Language Classes

    • Sign Language Classes

    • Cooking Classes

  • Report time spent on volunteer service to Community Outreach Coordinator

• Location of Duties:

  • Sharon Towers

• Time Required:

  • 1 - 2 hours per visit. Will work with your schedule.

• Training / Preparation:

  • Orientation and training provided by Community Outreach Coordinator

• Supervisor:

  • Community Outreach Coordinator
