Do you like talking about money? Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that will make a lasting difference in our area? One that not only helps local families but that also helps you develop new skills? Volunteer with VITA this upcoming tax season!

VITA is part of the larger Earn it. Keep it. Save it. state coalition that helps local families achieve their financial stability goals. Each year, millions of dollars in tax refunds are returned to our community thanks to the efforts of VITA volunteer tax preparers.

All volunteers are fully trained and IRS-certified. You can be a part of this impact by helping low and moderate income families learn about tax credits and preparing their tax returns.

After certification, you will be asked to volunteer for at least 3 hours (one shift) each week from February-April at one of our 11 VITA sites across Utah County.

Training materials will be available starting in November 2016. Classroom trainings will be held in early January 2017.
