A Winter's Tail is the WNC Nature Center's holiday event. We need fabulous volunteers to help with fun crafts. Shifts are available in the morning (9:45am-1:15pm) and afternoon (1:00pm-4:15pm). Please feel free to enjoy the event free of charge before or after your scheduled shift. E-mail Candace at volunteers@wildwnc.org if interested!

The Mission of the Friends of the Western North Carolina Nature Center is to create awareness and provide financial resources, through fundraising and events, in support of the Nature Center.

We are a community group of committed individuals, businesses and grantors who together support the WNC Nature Center with vital funding to provide an enriching and educational experience for visitors and schoolchildren.
