WhenIt's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.

Are you retired, currently unemployed, looking for an opportunity to help in a tangible way? If you have a vehicle, current driver's license and car insurance and like to drive we would love to have you join us.
A Transportation Aid Volunteer needs to be available to drive clients during normal business hours (8-5 p.m.) Monday through Friday. If you are only available one full day a week we'd love to have you join us. Minimum commitment is 1 month. Newly arrived refugees need transporting to various appointments (Food Stamp Office, Social Security Office, Medical Appointments). This is a wonderful opportunity for you to assist them as they begin their life here in Denver. Volunteer must fill out an application, have a current and valid driver's license and car insurance with liability coverage of 100/300/100,000 and will need to pass a background check.
Please contact Mindy Sohl, Volunteer and Church Relations Coordinator, Lutheran Family Services Refugee & Asylee Programs if you are interested at 303.225.0199.
