Stein Hospice gives compassionate attention and care to terminally ill patients. Our professional staff keep the patients pain free, comfortable and supported. What the patients need from the community are additional touches that show the outside world still cares for them. A crocheted lap robe, a handmade blanket, handsewn sachets or other items bring beauty and emotional warmth into the lives of patients and their families. Please consider donating your time, energy and artistic talent to benefit the last days of our patients.

Description
Our terminally ill patients are in need of caring companions who will help them live the best lives possible in the last months, weeks and days of their lives.
Our hospice services are coordinated and provided by an interdisiciplinary team of professionals and trained volunteers. The volunteers offer essential help either directly to patients and their families, or in our offices. Direct patient care volunteers have the opportunity to create relationships with patients, offering them dignity, companionship and caring at a time when they need human connections the most.
