Kids Vision for Life goes to a different elementary school each day and conducts vision screeenings to children K-6Th.
We ask that volunteers would come and help us conduct the vision screening. No previous experience is needed we train you on-site. It is easy to learn and very rewarding.
Once the screening is carried out, our optometrist provide eye exams to the kids who fail and give the students glasses at no cost to the families.

Description
Kids Vision for Life St. Louis (KVFL) provides vision screenings, eye exams and new eyeglasses to students in need, ages 5-18, at no cost to the family. Vision screenings, eye exams, and prescription eyewear are provided to elementary, middle, and highschool students who would not otherwise be able to obtain eyecare.
KVFL currently provides vision services for the following school districts: St. Louis Public Schools, Riverview Gardens, Jennings, Ferguson-Florissant, Bayless, St. Charles, Fox, Normandy, Maplewood Richmond Heights, Mehlville, Hancock Place, Ritenour, Pattonville, as well as several charter schools in the area.
