Job Description: This is a 25 acre working farm, cultivating fresh produce to provide healthy, nutritious fresh foods for distribution. Volunteers work as a group to assist the farmer with planting, harvesting, caring for, and cleaning fruits, vegetables, and other edible plants. Other duties may include composting, weeding, digging, hoeing and watering in the field. At times assistance is needed with landscape and property clean up. Come and get your hands in the dirt!

The San Antonio Food Bank has quickly grown to serve 58,000 individuals a week in one of the largest service areas in Southwest Texas. Through our network of more than 500 partner agencies and our own direct service programs, we are capable of distributing millions of pounds of food and groceries a year to combat hunger!
