Join us at Take Steps for our 10th year as we celebrate our "Decade of Difference" and the many research initiatives that the patient community has helped the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation stay at the forefront of as well as what’s to come in the next 10 years. This event would not be possible without the support of our many sponsors and volunteers. Thank you for volunteering your time with us on Sunday, September 23rd!

The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is the only IBD research and support organization. We focus our spending on four key areas: research, patient services, advocacy and professional education and couldn't fund our mission without the generous support of our volunteers and donors. We do not receive any government funding and truly appreciate your support.

More than 80 cents of every dollar raised goes towards breakthrough research, public and professional education, and patient support services in communities across the nation.

Description

The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis. It was founded in 1967 by Irwin M. and Suzanne Rosenthal, William D. and Shelby Modell, and Henry D. Janowitz, M.D. Since our founding over four decades ago, CCFA has remained at the forefront of research in Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Today, we fund cutting-edge studies at major medical institutions, nurture investigators at the early stages of their careers, and finance underdeveloped areas of research. In addition, our educational workshops and programs, along with our scientific journal, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, enable medical professionals to keep pace with this rapidly growing field. We are very proud that the National Institutes of Health has commended us for "uniting the research community and strengthening IBD research."
